Resolutions 09
Buy a home.
I can’t stand living with my awfully gracious parents anymore but I refuse to pour my money into the rent blackhole. I have the finances and the backing of the bank to look seriously but I keep putting it off because of the market.
Tudor and I have a lame little slogan: “Out in 09″.
Use everything I have ever bought
I’ll spare you the details but I calculated the percentage use of my non-clothing consumer goods such as educational CDs, books, and craft materials. It’s like 54% usage. No wonder I have no money.
Finish the OAAG Tour
Half the year’s worth of my membership has past and I’ve only seen 11% of what OAAG has to offer and I have three outstanding entries on places I’ve already been to. Bad Bad Me. Good thing half of them are in Toronto.
Learn to Negotiate
One of the hardest book I’ve ever read was “Women Don’t Ask” by Linda Babcock and Sara Laschever which details how women may sacrifice half a million dollars in earnings over the course of her career because they often neglect to negotiate their salaries.
I’ll never forgive myself for not negotiating my income. I will learn how to do this.
